Prioritizing safety: We One celebrates DP World global safety day

At We One, our employees are more than just a team they’re family. As part of our ongoing efforts to create a workplace that feels like home, we joined the DP World Global Safety Day, a global initiative bringing together colleagues across the DP World network.

This year’s theme, “Don’t Forget Why,” served as a powerful reminder of the importance of workplace safety. It emphasized the need to stay vigilant, follow safety protocols, and most importantly, look out for one another ensuring that every employee returns home safely at the end of the day.

A key highlight of our participation was the Gemba Walks, where teams engaged in on-the-ground discussions about safety measures, workplace hazards, and best practices. These walks provided valuable insights into real-world safety applications, reinforcing our commitment to continuous improvement and a safer work environment.

More than just an event, Global Safety Day reflects our core values prioritizing the well-being of our people and fostering a culture where safety is second nature. It’s a commitment that extends beyond policies and procedures that creates an environment where every employee feels responsible for their safety and that of their colleagues.
